Performance of hydraulic seals

1. The leakage is required to be extremely small, and the sealing effect is automatically improved as the pressure of the hydraulic oil increases. Even in harsh working environments such as high pressure and high temperature, the leakage does not increase significantly.

2. The seals are easily swollen, dissolved, brittle and hardened due to long-term immersion in hydraulic oil, which makes them lose their sealing effect. Therefore, hydraulic seals are required to have good compatibility with hydraulic oil.

3. In order to avoid or reduce the undesirable phenomena such as low-pressure creeping of hydraulic equipment, it should have low static friction resistance and dynamic friction resistance, and its friction coefficient should be very stable.

4. It should have good elasticity, heat resistance, cold resistance, pressure resistance, wear resistance and certain physical and mechanical strength, and long service life.

5. The seals and their corresponding sealing grooves should be easy to process, manufacture and install, and be inexpensive.
