Compared with Japanese and Taiwanese enterprises, most domestic manufacturing workshops fail to meet qualified 5S management standards. Traditional machining and pressing workshops in particular often suffer from messy layouts, cramped spaces and disorganized site management.

Although there is still a gap between our workshop management and top-tier Japanese enterprises, we never shy away from our shortcomings. Adhering to a pragmatic, result-oriented approach and rejecting formalism, we achieved full employee participation and united efforts across the workforce. Thanks to the joint dedication of all staff, the workshop environment has undergone a comprehensive transformation.

DMS implements full-coverage, zero-blind-spot and down-to-earth 5S execution. Led by management teams, all employees thoroughly cleaned and maintained all production equipment, eliminating accumulated oil stains and dust. The upgraded equipment condition is so impressive that visiting clients often mistake our well-maintained old machines for new ones.

Premium equipment deserves a premium workshop. We refurbished workshop walls with fresh white paint and boosted workstation lighting brightness by 30%. The entire workshop floor was repainted with standard industrial green, creating a clean, refreshing white-and-green working environment. We also added dedicated temporary storage zones and streamlined workshop passages to ensure unobstructed traffic flow.

The workshop is fully equipped with upgraded safety protection devices, supplemented by standardized safety warning signs, workstation identification labels, positioning markers and status indicators. On-site document management has been standardized: work instructions adopt unified hanging specifications, and quality record forms are placed in fixed designated positions.
