My 3 year old Samsung HE washing machine was basically bent from doors and windows, developed a door seal leak at the bottom of the washer.
After calling their service hotline and understanding the \"estimate\" of the cost of repairs, the cost will be close to $300.
$00, I turned to my plan and bought a new seal on the Internet for $60, saving myself $240 in 2 hours.
How did I do it? What you need. . .

The idea of replacement is basically to remove the above first, then remove the front panel, then remove the old door mat, and replace the new gasket with the drum that is already in place.
Remove all sheet metal screws that secure the top cover down.
Slide off the top cover and remove the screws as shown in the screwdriver in the photo.
Once the screw is removed from the gray plastic trim, you can slide the soap tray case up and down from the front door frame.
Remove the door hinge and filter box frame at the bottom of the front panel.
Remove the screws from the top of the front panel as shown.
Carefully set the control panel to the top of the washing machine and carefully wire.
Pull the door plate forward and create a gap for internal work.
I don\'t think it\'s necessary to remove the entire panel from the bottom hinge point because it seems too complicated.
Remove the screw clamp at the top of the gasket.
Reserved for reuse.
Starting from the top, as shown in the figure, peel off the gasket from the edge of the drum and work around the gasket.
When you encounter sensors, switches, and soap channels, pull out the washers from these items.
Replace with a new washer: Apply a thin soap film on the inner edge of the new washer and start at the bottom of the drum.
Slide the gasket to the edge and work on both sides, move left and right as you go to the top.
Make sure the new wire clip stays in the new pad circle as you go.
Install the sensor into the respective holes, add the Soap channel and clamp it.
Finally, as you initially found, tighten the entire wire clip with the clip on the top.
With the reverse panel removal step, you save about $240 or $120/hour.
